In the Ninetees the young woman in the video, the swiss artist Pipilotti Rist, became by Ever is over all famous as one of the icons of video art. Her combination of the asthetic of vivid, popping colours and glaring feminine action always oscillates between disturbing oddness and refreshing humor. It always depends on taste but I find her because of the obvious fact she doesn’t take art...

The first castings of Juliette Binoche, Emanuelle Seignier and Charlotte Valandre from the 80s. These french girls were so young and yet so wicked. They make me think of Rineke Dijkstra’s photos of girls of this age, f.e. the Beach Series.
