Short by Kenneth Anger for the Missoni Fall Winter 2010/2011 collection.
Missoni shows with their choice for director Kenneth Anger the brands awareness of popcultural history. Anger did avantgardistic films since the 1940s, he was the pioneer in underground film making influenced by occultism and drug experiences. In the Fifties he moved in the parisian circles of Jean Cocteau and Edith Piaf and in the Sixties he moved to London and kept company f.e. with the Rolling Stones. He influenced many directors and film makers like Roger Corman, Martin Scorsese and also David Lynch and John Waters.
Anger’s strongly artistic, on surfaces concentrated style goes with fashion films very well.
