Kenneth Anger’s Puce Moment (1949, newer sound edit)
Anger planned to make a film about the private life late 40s divas in their mansions.
This is part of a proposed feature-length film that sadly never got made, but this elegant and stylish dream-like memoir hints at the strange sweetness and flair for ennui and outrageouseness that Anger could inspire.

The footage was shot in 1949, but you’ll probably be shocked at how modern it feels — that’s because the experimental Anger, with his textured close-ups, innovative use of camera speed, and fondness for rock music, helped define the modern aesthetic of mainstream cinema (he was a huge influence on Martin Scorsese, for starters)

It seems to be an unimpotant snippet but regarding Angers general very critical view on Hollywood it could have a been a fascinating film.
