Director Peter Greenaway has been visiting the Film Science Mainz for a students discussion last wednesday. Most people know him by “The Draughtsman’s Contract”. But now he has refused making movies because he is convinced that “cinema is dead”. Actually he’s a really sustentative person, at one point of the discussion he held up his Iphone saying new media is the future. So his new projects resemble very much multi media art. With his “Tulse Luper Suitcases” he tries to reinvent cinema.
