This ring is my only but really nice find from the Stijl trade fair taking place this weekend in Mainz.
Aside from thousands of same looking skate shirts and teenagers in a frenzy we ventured to take a walk through the – especially in the contrast to the streetwear brands – rather sweetish Dawanda corner. At this point I must admit that I’m really not a fan of this DIY movement. I like things to be either proper or totally personal and inproper.
But in between dotted laptop bags and other kitsch I found the little stand from gold smith Hanna Tochtermann presenting her jewellery under the name Schmuck Syndikat and found myself having a thing for her fine, delicate rings made of sterling silver and gold strand. I think they’re also great for combining them.
