Samsung has sent us the new Samsung Glamour S7070 which has already been presented at the Berlin Fashion Week for a test and review.

It’s face is wellknown model Carmen Kass and it features a big touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel cam, of course internet, a music player and other funny gimmicks. On the whole the phone has a nice, simple and ergonomic form. Very practical is the automatic muting when you put the lightweight phone face down on the table. In this situation the extraordinary chanel-like quilted design is definitely an eyecatcher. The very feminin design might appeal to all that glitter and glamour loving women but for us this pearl white shimmering cover and the diamond shaped navigation button are a bit an overkill and barely our kind of taste.
Samsung has been also very creative in thinking of girly extra functions which distiguish their model from normal unisex touchscreen mobiles: For all the gossip girls there’s a “Lomo Effect” camera setting, “Lomo Photo Editing” and a retouch function to make us ready for the close up - afterwards. The “Fake Call Function” saves you like your best pal elegantly out of every unpleasant situation. These are many things we actually don’t need as we prefer the other way round - when form follows function - but surely the Samsung Glamour S7070 will gain its fans.
