#5 Traditional persian rug via
Model Erin Wasson’s collection for RVCA sells the “off-duty-model” style of clothing.
Some people may call it flat after seeing it four seasons but in my opinion the tag wearable is most of the times positive if you can see love in the details and a special mood. Hippie or folk elements like traditional costume “jankers” and fuzzy jackets and monochrome cream jersey looks reflect Wasson’s very own style.
What many don’t know: Before the collaboration with Erin Wasson RVCA was a only little known skate label. When I read this I wasn’t so surprised as it suits the above described phenomenon quite well.
Somehow the super cool and simple catwalk decoration with dozens of persian and chinese rugs reminds me so much of these rehearsal rooms of the bands you hung out with at high school. These rugs give a perfect feel between elitist chic and rock’n’roll. By the way Yeasayer were performing at Erin Wasson’s show.
